New License for Rescreeners
On December 17, 2007 the Palm Beach County Contractor’s Certification Board voted to have a seperate license for rescreeners. (I was not told that this issue was going to be voted on at this board meeting so I did not attend)
All rescreeners who have a current tax cerficate for rescreening or screen repair will be receiving a notice soon.
The notice will tell you how and when to apply for a license. You will have to take 2 different tests. One on rescreening and one on business.
You will have until Sept 30, 2008 to take and pass these 2 tests.

You should have received your notice by now. If you did not receive a notice call 233-5525 and ask for the notice to be sent to you.
I am working on getting a school to offer a review class for the technical part. A review class is already available for the business part, at the Contractors Exam School at 2424-A N. Congress Ave. Near the PBIA airport, across the street from the dogtrack, call 471-1828.
